DeFreitas & Associates Sponsors Dominica Rising Benefit Gala

Posted By March 7, 2023

This is our usual time of year when our firm reminds all our valuable clients and friends in Canada about the important dates surrounding the filing of your 2019 tax return.

What is the due date for a personal income tax return?

Answer: Personal income tax returns, except for those of self-employed individuals, will be due on April 30, 2020, as is any amount owing. Penalties and interest may be charged for late returns or late payments.
Self-employed individuals have until June 15, 2020 to file their 2019 personal tax returns, but any amounts owing must still be paid by April 30, 2020.

If you can’t afford to pay, file your tax return on time to avoid late-filing penalties!
For our existing clients, thank you for your support and your referrals from your respective personal and business networks are always appreciated.

For those of you who do not have a professional tax service provider, please contact us to make an appointment to see us this tax season.
